Parent session “Online child safety” – 26 October

Dear parents
During Week 3 of Term 4, we have organised Think U Know presentations for our Year 3-6 students. This is a program, run by both local and federal police, aimed at raising awareness and delivering education to protect children from online harm. Given the prolific use of social media in our society, we believe this is an important message, and having this presentation will support the work you and our staff also undertake in educating our children.
On Tuesday, 26 October at 6:30, there will be a parent presentation. I encourage all parents to attend so that the messaging is aligned and parents are supported in preventing and managing the challenges their children face in an online environment. Whilst just Year 3-6 students will be involved, the session is open to all parents and I hope many of you are able to take up this opportunity.
Further information can be found on their website https://www.thinkuknow.org.au/  and we will update you closer to the time.
Kind regards
Kirsten
